It's back-to-school season. Perhaps you'd like to celebrate by pondering how the schools you've gone to are affecting your love life?
The dating app Hinge is here to help. They've figured out what matters when it comes to education by analyzing data from their users, and what they found may cause you more anxiety than any final exam ever did.

They found that people who list their education are 16 percent more likely to score a like. So don’t be shy about revealing your school affiliations.
As for which schools did best, the results are conflicting. Women who went to school in the south garnered the most likes. University of South Carolina, NC State University, and University of Miami topped the list.
Men, on the other hand, we more likely to be liked if they went to liberal arts colleges (mostly in the northeast). Colby College topped the list, followed by Colgate and Middlebury.
Not surprisingly, you’re twice as likely to date someone who went to the same school as you did. Similarly, people who went to rival schools are less likely to connect.
Some grudges never die, apparently.
