Raise your hand if you've ever heard someone say, "I could never date a vegan."
Via GiphySEE ALSO:Stella McCartney is using ocean trash for luxury fashionOne of the struggles of dating as a vegan is meeting some really close-minded idiots who say things like, "I would rather die than give up meat."
That's why moments like the one this redditor had are so refreshing.
A redditor named rundarthmittens shared a picture of a colander full of kale to the /r/vegan subreddit with the comment: "I went on a first date the other day, and it came up that I was vegan. On the second date he brought me a couple of bunches of kale from his garden."
How sweet! He remembered her diet and lifestyle and gave her something that he grew in his own garden. We need more of this kind of thoughtfulness and respect in the dating world.
The reddit comments praised her date for his gesture.
Kale is the new chocolate and roses.
