Travellers flying into Sydney Airport, Australia, will soon be able to jump in an UberX to cruise to their destination.
No more ridiculous cab fares or crazy lines, in the near future you will be able to order an UberX on your app as your flight lands and your driver will be waiting at the door.

Before this time, UberX could not legally enter the airport due to state government regulation.
"Sydney Airport is currently developing new arrangements to accommodate all booked service operators at the airport, including ride sharing services such as Uber, as well as limousines and pre-booked taxis," a spokesperson said in an emailed statement.
"We will shortly be consulting with our airport partners regarding these new proposed arrangements."
It is believed Uber has been in talks with the company regarding the best possible way to meet demand at the international and domestic terminals in Sydney. An Uber spokesperson could only confirm the change was coming in the near future.
"We know there is huge demand for UberX at Sydney airport, with thousands of passengers opening the app at the airport every week," a spokesperson said via email. "We are finalising the details on how UberX driver-partners will be able to safely and quickly pick up riders and hope to share more details on this very soon."
A report in Australian Business Traveller said UberX drivers will have access to a dedicated zone outside the terminal 2 and 3, with a similar arrangement being considered for Terminal 1.
The publication also reported UberX drivers will be charged an access fee, such as the $4.10 fee charged to taxi drivers. This could mean the fee may be passed on to an UberX passenger, in much the same way it is passed on to taxi passengers.
Currently, UberX fares are significantly lower than a taxi fare in Sydney, so when this comes into play you'll be able to afford to order the extra mojito on your holiday. Good times.
