A Wyoming teen was playing Pokémon Go near the Big Wind River Friday when she stumbled across a dead body.
Shayla Wiggins, 19, told local outlets she saw a floating object while searching for water-type Pokémon in the river near her home. "I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body," she said.
Wiggins immediately called 911 after the discovery.
According to the Fremont County Police Department, the body — a man's — showed "no evidence of foul play" and had likely been in the river for less than 24 hours. The investigation is still ongoing.
Pokémon Go, which requires players to search for and capture virtual Pokémon in real-world locations — often off the beaten path — quickly became the most-downloaded app in the U.S. after its launch on Thursday.
