This year, we all collectively spent more time on social media than we needed. While many of us mindlessly scrolled, just looking for something to distract ourselves from the world around us, there were a bunch of Twitter users who were actively dedicated to their craft: making fancams.
What is a fancam, you ask? If you're on Twitter, you've seen them: video montages of celebrities, popular TV show characters, famous vloggers...really anyone (or sometimes, anything) you can think of, all set to trendy music. Most often, they're found in the replies to viral tweets, and almost never have anything to do with that tweet's subject matter.
With all this extra time on our hands, Twitter fancams really went off the deep end this year. So behold: the coolest, funniest, wackiest fancams we could find, below.
