Remember that sweet, rosy time just weeks ago, when Twitter's main concern was about the press "normalizing" Trump.
Ah, the good old days. While not every outlet has responded to the call, most have focused critical attention on the Oval Office. Teen Voguehas stepped up, as has a goddamn dictionary.
Then there's US Weekly.
SEE ALSO:Alternativefacts.com exists and it's been redirected to the perfect siteThe popular magazine came under fire recently for a cover photo featuring Trump's kids lightly tousling each other's hair and otherwise enjoying their cherubic problem-free life. While printing photos of a president's family is standard practice for a pop culture magazine, the article was published right as the president's immigration ban went into effect, leaving vulnerable immigrants stranded at airports or forced to return to their country of origin, even if they had green cards. Syrian and Iraqi refugees on their way to America were made to turn back, putting their lives at grave and imminent risk.

"The First Family!" the headline reads, with an unapologetically sincere exclamation point.

The magazine then proceeded to document the Trump kids' torturous, juicy challenges including: staggering wealth, intense competition and "unbreakable ties."
Predictably, poor Tiffany Trump doesn't appear to enjoy those "unbreakable ties." The magazine was only able to squeeze in about 60 percent of her lesser known body.
Sure, it's not fair to blame children for the sins of their father -- unless of course they actively campaigned for a year on behalf of him -- in which case, tweet away.
Today's small act of resistance: saw a copy of Us Weekly w/ Ivanka Trump on the cover at my OBGYN's office, threw it in the trash.

Dear @UsWeekly,

I'll never touch an issue of your magazine when a Trump is on the cover. Ever. 💋
Maybe we can try again next week.
For readers just starting to become aware of the dangers of the Trump presidency, (yes, that's just happening for some), US Weekly's cover is a mistake.
The Trump kids are just havin' a rockin' old time, while millions of Americans rise up in protest.
