Hillary Clinton held nothing back when writing her upcoming book, What Happened. And we mean nothing
Hillary Clinton held nothing back when writing her upcoming book,What Happened. And we mean nothing...
In an exclusive recording obtained by MSNBC's Morning Joe on Wednesday,Clinton can be heard reading a first excerpt from her campaign memoir in which she shares her true feelings about Donald Trump.
And yes, she straight up refers to the current U.S. president as "a creep." So there's that.

Clinton said while reflecting on what drove her to document her losing White House bid. "Instead, this is my story. I want to pull back the curtain on an experience that was exhilarating, joyful, humbling, infuriating, and just plain baffling."
In the audio clip, Clinton can be heard discussing the second presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri, saying her "skin crawled" as Donald Trump so memorably lurked behind her.
"This is not okay, I thought,” Clinton read, describing what she felt in that moment. "...Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces."
"It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled," she went on. "It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, 'Well, what would you do?'"
Clinton explained she will discuss moments from the campaigns she wants to cherish forever, along with those she wishes she could "go back and do over." She also mentioned coming to terms with the fact that she let people down, saying the results of this election will stay with her for the rest of her life.
At one point she even quipped, "If the Russians could hack my subconscious, they'd find a long list."

Simon & Schuster’s website explains Clinton plans to "tell the story of what it was like to be the first woman nominated for president in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, kooky theatrics, Russian interference, a maddening inattention to serious issues, deplorable (yes, deplorable) bigotry, and an opponent who broke all the rules."
Perhaps Donald Trump, who does not read books, will pick up a copy when Clinton's account hits shelves on Sept. 12.
