Medellin's mayor Federico Gutierrez called the rapper a "scoundrel" arguing he should've brought flowers to the victims of violence in the city.

"It shows that this guy has never had to suffer from the violence inflicted by these drug traffickers," Gutierrez said.。

Escobar, who died in a shootout with authorities in 1993, terrorised Colombia in the 1980s and 1990s and is responsible, along with his Medellin cartel, for the deaths of about 4,000 people.。
