Just as we predicted, former White House press secretary has a new mission in life.
SEE ALSO:A toilet seat for Trump and a coin case for Spicer: The thrill of White House work ordersHe's writing a book, a tell-all memoir to "set the record straight" about the Trump administration, from the 2016 campaign to the transition and his short time behind the world's most famous podium.
Despite our best hopes, though, the book is unlikely to shine a revelatory light on all the lies, misrepresentations, gaffes, accusations, outbursts he made while press secretary.
"I looked back at the coverage of the campaign, the transition in the first six, seven months of this White House, I realized the stories that are being told are not an accurate representation of what President Trump went through to get the nomination, to transition to the White House and then his first six months in office," Spicer told Fox News' Sean Hannity.
The book, entitled "The Briefing" will be published on 23 July 2018 by conservative publisher Regnery Publishing and it promises to shed "new light on the headline-grabbing controversies of the Trump administration’s first year" according to ABC News.
Spicer, who worked as communications director for the RNC (Republican National Committee), was named Trump's press secretary during the transition.
He turned in his resignation in July after Trump appointed Anthony Scaramucci to communications director.
