It all started when Kim captured America's collective heart not just by being an amazing snowboarder but by tweeting -- including during competition -- about her desire to consume a bunch of junk food, perhaps the most American of pastimes. 。

Then on Tuesday, after having already dropped a 93.75 on her first run -- a score that was good enough to win the gold medal -- Kim tweeted out that she was hangry for her unfinished breakfast sandwich.。

Maybe that's the kind of edge we all could use, because she immediately went out and delivered a gobsmacking amazing run of 98.25, including nailing back-to-back 1080s. 。

And so, now, to the victor goes the churros.
