Sometimes even the most experienced broadcasters can get a bit carried away by their reporting.
This is what happened to Sky News correspondent Martin Brunt, whose news reports in a church caused puzzled reactions on Twitter after two Islamic State-linked attackers killed a priest in Normandy, France, on Tuesday.

In the clip, Brunt walks towards the entrance of the church where the morning service has just begun, noticing there are no obvious signs of security despite the recent incident. "In fact, this sign at the church door says that everybody's welcome," he says before getting inside the church.
A few moments later, he steps outside and, walking slowly facing the camera, says: "There are about a dozen worshippers in there and one priest."
"If I was a terrorist I could have killed them all."
The ominous sentence prompted many people to compare the news report to Alan Partridge antics or Brass Eye:
