You didn't think we'd get through the Grammys opener without at least one shot at the current president, did you?
The first dig of the night -- surely more will come -- came courtesy of host James Corden.
"Live it on up, because this is the best/And with President Trump, we don't know what comes next," he rapped to huge applause.

Elsewhere in Corden's opener: A stair-lift fake-out.
We'll admit it-- for a few seconds, we were pretty sure Corden's Grammys hosting gig was off to a rough start.
Ahead of Corden's opening monologue, the platform lifting him up to the stage stopped mid-way, forcing him to climb the rest of the way.

But then he did this over-the-top stair roll, and our concerns promptly vanished.
Via GiphyYou had us for a second though, Corden.
