At this year's CES 2020, Samsung took the wraps off its latest Chromebook. And, let's just say, you can spot this laptop from a mile away.
Specs aside, the first thing that caught my eye when looking at the new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook was how bright it was. It comes in an interesting "Fiesta Red" color, which is kind of red and orange, depending on where the light hits it.
If you're not feeling adventurous, you can opt for the more boring Mercury Gray version.
OK, let's get to the technical stuff.

At 9.9mm thick, the 2-in-1 Chromebook is Samsung's thinnest yet. And at about 2.3 pounds, it's also super lightweight.
It's certainly not as light as the Pixelbook Go I've been carrying around CES. Still, when I picked it up, I immediately thought about how easy it would be to commute with.

It features a one-megapixel front-facing camera on top and an eight-megapixel camera on the keyboard.
If you're wondering why there's a camera on the keyboard, it's meant for things like conference calls. So, rather than flipping the entire laptop around to use the front-facing camera, you can fold it back instead.
The camera placement is actually pretty clever.Credit: ZLATA IVELEVA/MASHABLEThere's also a built-in pen to navigate the laptop. Or, you can use it for things like note taking and drawing.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the latest 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, running ChromeOS. Additionally, it comes with up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage.

Obviously, we need to put this laptop through its paces before finalizing our opinions, but it's pretty powerful on paper. So, if you've been looking to upgrade your Chromebook or happen to be in the market for a new laptop, it might be worth the wait.
