The best attendee at the White House's National Military Spouse Appreciation Day event was a tenacious child who refused to let Vice President Mike Pence get away with whacking him in the face.
While President Donald J. Trump was tied up plotting a major news dump for later Tuesday evening, Pence and his wife were forcing military families to admire their pet rabbit.
SEE ALSO:The March for Science stretched all the way to the North PolePer a clip from HuffPost, a little boy was standing to the right of Pence's podium when the VP, mid-gesture, gave the kid an accidental whack in the face. Determined to get the apology he rightly deserved, the child followed Pence around demanding the VP's attention.
"Excuse me?" he asked while Pence greeted other children, rolling his eyes when his pleas went unheard. "You owe me an apology."
Eventually, he did get an apology out of the vice president: "Oh, I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to bop you."
Someone hire this kid to demand answers from Sean Spicer.
