This red panda has just seen something on a rock. Because of the way the panda is acting, it is probably something new, perhaps an insect -- something that the panda has never seen before. Perhaps the rock itself is new.
Let's be clear: this is a very cute GIF (look at those paws). However, it also awakened in me an uncomfortable feeling of solidarity.
SEE ALSO:Just a load of animals with pancakes because humans are weirdYou see, this panda is reacting to this small obstacle the same way I also might react to a small obstacle -- an unexpected rain shower, for example, or a brief train delay, or that thing where my sock slips off my heel and floats around inside my shoe.
This red panda -- if only for an instant -- is completely overwhelmed.

But life goes on, after all. The rain stops. The train will eventually come. At some point, I will learn to wear different socks with those shoes.
And this red panda will get used to whatever is going on with this rock.
