Having an Aussie accent in America can really play to your advantage. It's cute, it's unusual, it's got that 。 Crocodile Dundee 。vibe. 。

It's no wonder then that Matthew McConaughey faked an Australian accent after returning home from living Down Under for one year between high school and college. 。

McConaughey pulled the accent for almost 12 months while he was studying at the University of Texas at Austin, he told Seth Meyers Friday on。 Late Night with Seth Meyers
