You're going to be seeing a lot less of Kim Kardashian West following her traumatic experience on Sunday, when she was robbed at gunpoint. 。

According to 。 People 。, the reality television star turned social media queen and mogul will be cutting down her time in the public eye significantly, including social media. 。

“This scared everyone. They’re not taking chances," says the magazine's source. "It was a really scary situation for the entire family and it’s just not worth it to put themselves out there unnecessarily right now.”

“When something like this happens everything changes,” the source continued. “Everything will change. It changes the whole family -- how and where they travel.”

The entire Kardashian family has been almost completely silent since the attack, with only Caitlyn and Kylie Jenner making any social media posts. When Caitlyn Instagrammed a photo of herself with Kylie at a car show they attended over the weekend on Monday, the post drew criticism. 。

Jenner later shared a photo of Kim, writing, "After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world." 。

The sisters eventually decided to tie balloons with Kylie's face on them to her car instead, but the incident still shook the 19-year-old star.。

Kourtney instructed her sisters to put their phones on airplane mode while using Snapchat and send snaps out later, but the night of the incident, Kim posted snaps from her hotel room. The family will most likely take more extreme steps to alter the way they use social media now.。
