A mother in Texas had the internet in hysterics after falsely accusing her daughter of hoarding drug
A mother in Texas had the internet in hysterics after falsely accusing her daughter of hoarding drugs.
The sinister substance in question was actually more likely to be a party favor for a kid's birthday party than a rager.
SEE ALSO:Could this 'Friends' texting prank BE any funnier? When 16-year-old Ashley Banks asked her mother to move a calculator from her room to the mailbox for a friend, she received a series of texts regarding a mysterious bag of capsules found in her desk.
"What are these?" Ashley's mother asked after demanding her daughter come home immediately to face the consequences of hiding drugs. The substance in question? Magic Grow Capsules -- the dinosaur variety.
"Ashley Carol I will not have drugs in my house," she wrote. After some laughs at the misunderstanding, Ashley instructed her mother to drop the capsules into water.

The post has been shared over 34,000 times and people are getting a hoot out of the mother-daughter interaction. The best part is how the conversation wraps up with a slight dig at her daughter.
"Why in the Earth would you buy these?" Ashley's mom wrote. "I thought you were 16 not 7?"
You can never be too old for some growing dinosaur toys, Mom. But don't worry, Ashley's friend did get the calculator in time for her SAT test.
