It's a sad day for Queer Eyefans around the world because Bruley, the French bulldog beloved by the Fab Five, has died.
Bruley, who belonged to Michelle Silva — a Queer Eyeproducer — was known for hanging out on set and bonding with Jonathan, Antoni, Tan, Bobby, and Karamo both on and off camera. The cute pup made occasional cameos on the show, and has gained a loyal fanbase of 294,000 Instagram followers over the years.
On Thursday, Silva announced on Instagram that Bruley died of a heart attack. She shared a photo of her holding Bruley while sitting on a bed and wrote a lengthy, emotional goodbye post.
"My whole heart. My love bug. My best friend. My constant. My soul mate. My everything. I brought him home when he was 9 weeks old on a rainy day in New York City. Ten years later on a rainy day in LA, he passed away in my arms on my bedroom floor," Silva wrote.

Silva went on to explain that Bruley had been suffering from heart problems for some time and that she knew a heart attack was a possibility. Though the death was tragic, Bruley was surrounded by love in his final moments, and Queer Eye fans, including the cast members, are sharing their love for the dog.
So far, Antoni has posted a heartfelt Bruley Instagram story, writing, "Rest in puppy peace, because all dogs go to heaven, little one," and Bobby shared a sweet post of his own.

"Over the course of 16 episodes of @queereye, in just a few moments on screen, you guys all got a glimpse of the Bru I knew and loved. He was hilarious, stubborn, sometimes inappropriate, and always a sucker for a snack. He was pure love," Silva wrote to fans.

Silva went on to explain that though Bruley is gone she will try to finish his nearly-complete website at some point, which will feature "long-awaited merch."
"I’ve also been exploring non-profit opportunities and getting involved in bulldog rescue. There is so much Bru inspired, and it’s so much bigger than I even realized," she wrote.
We'll miss you, Bruley. Queer Eye won't be the same without its mascot.
